Dear Self…Please! Stay In School.

Dear self,

You grew up in a small village and sometimes you had less,

But God blessed you with two powerful angels that are mom and dad.

Both would go hungry to see you have food on the table, both would stay up all night just to watch you sleep.

The introduction to education was the best part of your childhood.

With knowledge you gained power and with power your sad past life started to fade…

Today you continue to rise not because of what you do but because of what you know

A famous writer said in the current error you’re not paid for what you do but for what you know…

So dear self, stay in school

Take school seriously

Even with the knowledge you have, you still make mistakes and learn some really hard lessons.

One of your biggest ones? Love!

You go through a lot because of love.

Love can be beautiful. But love can bring you the worst nightmare and the worst trauma

Love ends up giving you the worst heartbreak in life to the extent you wonder and ask God what’s happening.

Even though your heart breaks into pieces; you still believe that this world is beautiful if we all love each other.

The other lesson you will learn is the fact that not all friendships are healthy. You end up making some pretty bad friends. And even though you end up trying to let them go, you  fail.

Save yourself from becoming the person who always looks back upon life as hard.

Self;

Stay in school

Make better friends

Go easy with love

Start to be better.

So that you don’t reach my age and say, “I should have been a better person. ”

A.J The older you.
