I was asked the other day, “How would you like to be remembered”
My answer was this:
“I want them to say that Sandra walked with God, that she lived for and loved Jesus with all her heart and that with every day of her life she reminded as many as she could to hang onto hope, and pointed them towards THE endless well of HOPE: Jesus Christ himself.
My name is Nakalanda Sandra Diana from Uganda. I am a daughter of The King, Jesus. I am also a dedicated mentor, education equity advocate, social worker and writer.
At the start of 2017, I found myself staring down the darkest hole in my life and desperately trying to hang onto a life I didn’t recognize any more. Tired of existing within the walls I’d built around myself, I took baby steps and by the Grace of God, those walls started to break down, piece by small piece. I started a small blog called the Conversations 256 to share what I was learning about life and God. Two years later, that small blog is now an award-nominated, online destination.
I am now a First Generation Graduate, still in love with Jesus, and breaking down stigmas associated with opening up about sensitive topics, pushing people to find inner courage to share their life’s greatest lessons through stories and letters and encouraging others to hang onto hope.
Over the past five years, the conversations 256 has evolved from small personal blog to an educational platform read by over 1200 Ugandans every month.
The Conversations 256 (also known as the C256) is a movement of courage and hope.
At our core, we are determined to build a brand that honours Jesus, a media platform that reflects His boundless love and mercy. And as we journey together, our goal is that every article, story, podcast, newsletter or video that we share can offer solace and encouragement to all who find themselves lost in the depths of hopelessness, fear, sadness, and grief.
As you engage with our content dear reader; we hope you remember that you are not alone. In the midst of your darkest hour, when despair threatens to consume your very soul, LISTEN, READ and WATCH our gentle offerings and remember that He is with you. His presence is a beacon of hope, a source of strength that knows no bounds.

We care about the community and about giving back and we do so through supporting Hope for Christmas, a food and relief initiative that aims to provide impoverished families in Uganda’s poorest neighbourhoods with nourishment and clothing assistance during different festive seasons.
We are enabled to do so through community led fundraising and individual generosity from our readers.
The plan for 2024 is to partner with educational institutions and youth organisations to impact as many as possible.
